Nexdane Energy Controls was founded on a simple premise: the energy sector deserves control systems designed by engineers who understand the grid.
Nexdane Energy Controls was established by a team of OT engineers and cybersecurity specialists who had spent over a decade maintaining SCADA systems for UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).
Initial deployment of our GridSync SCADA platform at a regional DNO, monitoring 12 primary substations across South Yorkshire with full IEC 61850 integration.
Released RTU Manager Pro to address the growing challenge of managing heterogeneous RTU fleets. Adopted by three DNOs within the first year.
Established our OT Security practice in response to the NIS Directive and NCSC CAF requirements. Achieved IEC 62443 certification for our development lifecycle.
Expanded into continental European markets, deploying GridSync for transmission operators in Denmark and the Netherlands. Opened a technical office in Copenhagen.
Reached 140+ monitored substations across UK and EU. Launched our dedicated OT Security Operations Centre (SOC) providing 24/7 threat monitoring for critical infrastructure clients.
Engineers and security professionals who have worked inside the energy sector they now serve.

Grid operators cannot tolerate downtime. Every design decision is evaluated against its impact on operational continuity.
Security is not an afterthought or an add-on module. It is built into our architecture from the first line of code.
We embed with our clients' operations teams to understand their workflows before writing a single requirement.
We are always looking for engineers who understand critical infrastructure and want to make the grid more resilient.
